Letters are awesome. And I like to make them. There’s something about lettering by hand that just hits the right spot. Like hot chocolate on a cold day. Like some iced tea after mowing the lawn. Like finally finding a gas station when you’re running on E.
Advent Calendar
For Christmas last year, I did a series of hand-lettered images, one for each day of advent. I enjoyed exploring several different styles of lettering, from scripts to grotesques to calligraphic strokes, as well as the challenge of incorporating text and image in a meaningful way. Merry Christmas!
